In order to help you find some of your requests, I thought I'd create a recipe page. We have had several requests for some of the recipes that were used at the Visiting Teaching Conference, as well as some of the Relief Society Meetings. From now on, if you send a request, you'll be able to find the recipe on this page.
Enjoy!!

Ribbon Sandwiches (Makes One)
Make up two cups of chopped ham spread, two cups of egg salad spread, and two cups of cream cheese spread.
For the ham spread,
in your food processor, grind 1 lb. of ham, 1/2 cup mayo, 2 T. pickle relish and 1 T. of mustard.
For the egg salad,
boil 4 eggs, 1/2 cup of mayo, pinch of salt and pepper, mix together in food processor.
For the cream cheese spread,
mix 2- 8 ounce packages of soften cream cheese with a small can of drained crushed pineapple and 1/4 cup marischimo cherry juice.
Buy a loaf of unsliced bread of your choice and slice it into four layers lengthwise.
Spread each side of the slices with butter or margarine to keep the bread from getting soggy.
Spread each layer with filling, first layer egg, second ham, and third cream cheese spread.
Reassemble loaf.
Frost with 1 package soften cream cheese thinned with milk so that it is spreadable, like frosting.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
Slice and serve.

Nanimo Bars
Spray a cookie sheet that has an edge or a 9 x 13 inch pan with non-stick spray.
For first layer, in a saucepan on low heat, mix
1/2 cup of butter
1/4 cup splenda or sugar (both work well)
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg, slightly beated
until it has all melted together and thickened.
Then add
2 cups of crushed graham crackers or crushed graham flavored cereal,
1 cup of coconut
and 1/2 cup chopped nuts (sliced almonds, peacans, walnuts all work well)
Pat into pan. Set aside to cool.
Second layer:
mix and then spread over first layer
1/4 cup softened butter
2 cups powdered sugar
3 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons instant vanilla pudding powder.
Put this in the refrigerator while you make the third layer.
Third layer:
Melt 1 cup chocolate chips
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons water
until it is completely smooth and creamy.
You can do it in a double boiler or in the microwave.
Spread second layer over bottom layer, top with chocolate layer.
Refrigerate until firm. Cut into bars. Makes about 40 bars.

Grape Salad from Natalie Mason

1 bunch red seedless grapes
1 8 oz. cream cheese
1 c. Sugar
1/2 c. Sour cream
1-2 tsp. vanilla
Chopped pecans
Brown sugar
Wash the grapes and make sure they are dry. Mix the cream cheese, sugar, sour cream, and vanilla together in a large bowl. Add the grapes and get them covered in the dip. Put them in a 9 x13 pan. Top with as much brown sugar and pecans as you'd like! Better if served chilled."
Thanks for posting the recipes from the Visiting Teaching Conference. I love seeing what the sisters make and appreciate all of the new recipes.
